Ken Beard

Back in 1980, Ken and his wife Faye began Paradise Pools and Spas as a construction and service based business in Vicksburg, MS.  Just one year later, in 1981, the business had grown enough to open his first retail pool store, also in Vicksburg.  In 1984, a second retail pool store was opened in Jackson, MS.  A third retail operation was opened in Pearl, MS in the year 2003.  The Jackson location was closed and merged with the Pearl location in 2005.  Then, in 2007, the Vicksburg operation was sold. Currently the Pearl store, located at 227 S. Pearson Rd., serves most of the central MS area.  Sadly, on April 17, 2018, Ken passed away. Twenty-two months later, on February 13, 2020, Faye also passed away. Their memories and business practices will continue to mold our business as we press on into the future.
